Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup (IHR Cup) 2025, a prestigious equestrian event, is set to take place at the Sultan Agung Stadium (SSA) in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on June 15, 2025. Organized by SARGA.CO, Indonesia’s first and only horse racing event promoter, in collaboration with PP PORDASI (the Indonesian Equestrian Sports Association), the event promises to be a thrilling spectacle for horse racing enthusiasts.
This year’s IHR Cup 2025 marks the fourth championship organized by SARGA.CO, who aim to revitalize horse racing in Indonesia. The event is part of Indonesia’s Horse Racing 2025 series, themed “The Race of Rising Stars,” and anticipates showcasing new talent within the Indonesian equestrian scene.

The IHR Cup 2025 is expected to draw a large number of participants from across Indonesia, uniting horse owners, trainers, groomers, and enthusiasts from various regions.
According to Aseanto Oudan, CEO and Co-Founder of SARGA.CO, the IHR Cup series is a testament to their commitment to reviving horse racing in Indonesia. He envisions it as a national tradition and sport with immense potential.
Ten IHR championships are scheduled for this year. The hope is that these championships will provide a platform for horses, jockeys, trainers, groomers, and owners to showcase their skills and achieve success.
The event will also recognize the contributions of trainers and groomers. Their crucial role in preparing and caring for the horses, both physically and mentally, is vital to a professional horse racing ecosystem.
18 Kelas dan Kelompok Umur di IHR Cup 2025
The IHR Cup 2025 will feature 18 classes categorized by age group (2 and 3 years old), height (A-F), and breed (Thoroughbred). Distances range from 800 meters to 2,000 meters.
There are several classes for different age groups and skill levels, including classes for 2-year-old beginners and experienced racers. Several classes will be held over different race distances.
Two of the most prestigious classes are the Open Class (2,000 meters) and the Calon Derby (1,850 meters), each offering a total prize of Rp70 million.
The IHR Cup 2025 serves as a prelude to the IHR – Indonesia Derby or National Championship Series 1 Indonesia Derby in July, also to be held at the SSA Bantul.
SARGA.CO and PP PORDASI will use the IHR Cup 2025 to ensure the SSA is prepared for this major championship and the subsequent Triple Crown series.

Spectators can choose from various ticket options: Regular A (Rp75,000), Regular B (Rp25,000), and free General Admission/Festival tickets.
